Green Positiv

Positive organ · VST3 / AU · Free

The Green Positiv plug-in window: five stops, three knobs and an 88-key keyboard.

About

A small positive organ as a VST3 and Audio Unit plug-in. It plays the free Green Positiv sample set by Piotr Grabowski, recorded from an organ built by Stanisław Pielczyk in 2008. The plug-in is free of charge.

What it does

  • Five stops: Flet kryty 8', Flet kryty 4', Pryncypał 4', Pryncypał 2' and Kwinta 1⅓'. Stops can be switched while keys are held.
  • Three velocity layers per pipe, sustain loops and releases that do not click.
  • Action noise and blower & room noise, each with an on/off switch and a level.
  • Pitch: A=440 or the organ as recorded (about A415). Fine tune of ±100 cents.
  • Range C2 to G6, sustain pedal.
  • An on-screen keyboard that shows what you play and can be clicked to play.

The samples are inside, which is why the files are large. The plug-ins are not notarized (macOS) or signed (Windows), so the system may warn about an unknown publisher; the README in each download explains the install. There is no Linux version, and Pro Tools cannot load either format.
